"Loved the location. Not too happy about the newly imposed parking fee. As a gold member I'm entitled to two bottled water and food/beverage credit per day. Didn't get any of that. Instead I was imposed a $35/day parking fee and refused a later check out time. My two daughters who had separate reservations were granted a 11:00 check out time and a12:00 check out time, but mama was not granted."

"Loved the hotel & lagoon. The pools weren’t big enough for our taste but we enjoyed the property. Room was lovely & quiet. Chairs were very worn but not uncomfortable or gross. Only major deal breaker for us was that the ocean tower was a 15 minute walk from the entrance. No way to drive over. There is a monorail type tram that came about every 20 minutes but did not run 24hrs. It sucked toting all of our gear back and forth to our jeep every day. Otherwise it was a very cool hotel."

"My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort. The breakfast buffet was amazing, the staff were super helpful without exception. The beach was awesome. This is a 5 star destination!"

"The Fairmont is likely as good of a “Resort” property as one could find. I am not a fan of Resorts, But when in Hawaii it is difficult to not stay in one. Fairmont is well presented, certainly not a value proposition, but nicely done. Good food, Bars, Pool, etc. shower in the bathtub was far better than the separate shower. Facility does need some paint and refreshing. Grounds and Location are beautiful. I like Fairmont Hotels and they are a brand I seek out, when traveling."
