"What a special place! Perfect location. You have the feel of camping ,but Healdsburg is so close for food whether it’s a grocery store or many restaurants to try. The coffee in the morning was a such a nice touch. Everyone there is very friendly. The river is right there and provided so many beautiful pictures."

"My girlfriend and I had a magical experience at the Inn at Occidental this weekend. The Inn fits somewhere between a lodge, and a cozy B&B. The toen of Occidental is storybook, with some warm restaurants and unique stores....and the location is perfect for beauty (near the giant redwoods), the ocean and virtually unlimited tasting at some of the wineries anywhere. The beauty of the area is astounding....and the people are even better! If you haven't visited this area, add it to your bucket...

"We stayed in a bungalow. Clean, very comfortable bed and bedding. Plenty of new clean towels. A little more rustic than we anticipated, no screens on windows and no air conditioning so it was pretty warm inside when we checked in. It does cool down fairly quickly so with the oscillating van they provided and the ceiling fan we slept well. Be ready for quick temperature changes in the shower. If you want river/

access it would be a great choice. "

"The view from the room was just beautiful and exactly like the pictures and description. Vineyard, forested hills, barn and fields. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful. There was a minor issue with the key card not working, but the owner took care of it in a timely manner, and he was very helpful and welcoming. The room was newly renovated, beds were incredibly comfortable, kitchen appliances were new and everything was sparkling clean. The outside of the buildings are more rustic (not...
