"For the money, I cannot think of a better value! I’m traveling for a new job and needing a place relatively close to Aberdeen. Since I have had HORRIBLE experiences in Aberdeen, I decided to check this place out and I cannot recommend it enough. I was not sure if I had the right place at first as the big sign outside reads “Ocean Shore Resort” and doesn’t mention American Value Inn except for a decal on the door. So I thought I was at the wrong place for a few minutes. Perhaps since it’s the off season, I had to call the manager to check in but she came in within five minutes and checked me in quickly. The room is very clean and modern. Had all the necessities. It was so quiet though I was glad to see that they do provide ear plugs as well just in case. It’s a great little place and I’ll definitely be staying here if I come during the summer with my family. "

"Everything was fine but when we unfolded the couch to make the bed there was 1 black crusty sock sitting there. And 1 dog who constantly barked when the owners left the room(quite often)"

"To start the rooms were nasty and hair on the beds. Walls look like a muddy dog ran it’s body all over there was soda or wine stains on the floors behind the beds on the floor and when we went to leave we found what we believed to be bed bugs we have tossed all our clothes out and had no way informing staff. We had no internet access in our room and the heater did not work very well"

"This is our go-to place every time we go to Ocean Shores. It's pet friendly they even have treats and bedding for the pets. Easy access to the outdoors when you have a dog. The staff is amazing and facilities are very clean."
