There breakfast was very good, but we paid $100 more a night for a jacuzzi tub in the room but when we got there the whole floor was flooded w water and all the owner did was put 20 towels down on the floor and tell us they they would send someone to fix tje jacuzzi but no one came to help. And they left towels on tje floor for us to walk on both days we were there. That was nasty. When we told them we couldnt us the tub all weekend they told is we should of used it anyway even if it flooded the floor... and dont worry mam we wont charge you extra for it!! They never tried to make it right or come dry the carpet or anything but put mass towels down the day we got there! Most hotels would have reinbursed the extra charge for a jacuzzi suite at least.. very disappointed w there customer service. We talked to both husband and wife and they both didmt seem to care that they charged for a service they didnt provide. We wont be staying there again unfortunately. They dont show any care for there guests once they get there $$$$

We had to ask for extra coffee and cups. The toilet seat should be replaced. Breakfast foods that should have been hot were hot. There seemed to be issues with the room access and locking hardware. There was a table but only one chair so two people could not sit at the table.

The room seemed clean and the beds were fairly comfortable. Our room had a door into an adjacent room and our door didn’t lock. Our bathroom door looks like it had been chewed on rather extensively. Our dead bolt didn’t lock. Sliding patio door took maneuvering to lock. Towels were very thin. Shower had minimal pressure.

Stayed at the Coratel Hotel with my best friend and her four kids for a weekend getaway, and we had a great experience. The owner was incredibly kind—he upgraded our room and even worked with me on the price when it was initially out of budget. The continental breakfast was fantastic, the pool was warm, and the hot tub was perfectly hot. The only small inconvenience was having to ask for pool towels each time, but staff brought them quickly. Our ocean view balcony was the cherry on top—we could see all the fireworks just days before the Fourth. Would definitely stay again!

The staff is AMAZING!! breakfast was DELICIOUS! Dog friendly for $30 a night. The property is run down, older and had an odd smell. We had an ocean view room on the 3rd floor for $300 a night. Really over priced for the condition of the property.

The property is in decent condition. Could use some upgrades and maintenance. Room door needed to be pulled / pushed shut as it was misaligned and wouldn't close on its own. This is a great inexpensive place to stay for anyone on a budget. The room was very clean and pleasant for my overnight stay after a long day of lounging on the beach. The staff was very nice. The internet was excellent as well. I will plan on staying here again on my next trip to the ocean.

This property was fine. The lobby and common areas were clean. It does not have pretty landscaping or decor, but it is practical and gets the job done. The rooms could use some paint and wall cleaning. It was comfortable and peaceful, clean and friendly. Very, very simple.

Key pad wasn’t working the whole time and it smelled kinda gross on the bottom floor. Definitely an older place.

Property rundown, everything needs paint, stingy breakfast, fuzzy tv, dirty walls, hot tub broken 3 out of 4 days there, $100 deposit on check in, was refunded. Better to drive to beach, no views. Staff was somewhat friendly.

Staff was very friendly and efficient. Very close to beach, just a short walk. Facility seemed clean and the complimentary breakfast was good.

Check in took over an hour. I had booked 7 rooms and they couldn't find one. Many issues with cleanliness in miscellaneous rooms, poor condition of lights and sockets, no decaf available and one of our guests can't have caffeine for health reasons. Breakfast - Hard boiled eggs were so overcooked they looked like they had gone bad, lemonade and a watered down grape juice were the options for kids. We gathered at Ocean Shores to spread my husband's ashes and some of these issues added to my stress. Will not recommend to others.

What an unpleasant experience. Hotel had clearly changed hands by the tiny sign glued over the old hotel name, but hotel should not have been open yet if so. Very prominently announcing they’re not responsible for ANYTHING when checking in. Probably a family business but if so the men have no business working in the front as they were all unfriendly and off putting and would just stare as they talked on their blue tooth. The female staff at least tried a modicum of customer service but not much better. Everything was in a state of disrepair. Basically couldn’t shower because there was no water pressure. Stains on comforter and mattress. Key cards became inactivated for multiple guests, ourselves included. Hot tub controls don’t work. Fixtures in pool bathroom rotting. Weird smells through out the building. No rules or monitoring pool area….wildest swimming experience ever with people cannon balling over each other, jumping over us, splashing everyone’s belongings, jumping in and out of the hot tub and the the pool. Staff present but no attempt to enforce an acceptable behavior. We left at midnight the second night because the thought of staying there a second night was that bad. Upon checkout when asked if everything was alright and stating it was a very unpleasant stay there was no follow up questions or actual concern. We normally stay at moderately priced hotels and are supporting of small businesses but this was the absolute worse experience ever, shouldn’t evenbe open.
