The view was decent but the amenities in the environs is the best selling point. It is located amongst the local food stalls, where you get to eat nostalgic tasty & affordable food like curry fish head, rojak, steamed herbal soup etc.

The staff are the shining stars for this hotel. Despite the aging property, the bed was very firm and comfortable and the towels were clean. Overall, it was an average stay but value for money for what we paid for.

It’s conveniently located just a walk away from KSL Mall. But being an older hotel, the condition is not great - bed was squeaky, plastic around bathroom door was cracked and not replaced, bathroom is of good size but the shower area is small. Overall ok for a night’s stay.

The family suite is spacious rm 2518 but the structure and furniture in the room is old. They are nice to have a small surprise for my girl celebrating her birthday with some pastries and fruits. The bed and pillows are good for sleeping. In the night u can hear people singing karaoke 😂

Good service but housekeeping needs to be improved

Non smoking room but the room has slight smoke odor. Hasnt been dusted in a while, there's visible coat of dust on the card reader on door and inside the cupboards. Otherwise bedsheet was clean and bed is comfortable. Service was good.

Spacious n clean. But amenities within room some not in working condition. If only hotel ensure n see to it that better daily amenities maintenence are done. Especially good TV reception n bath necessities. Furniture decor definitely need a makeover asap. They are too old. Overall acceptable for a short stay. Plus point it's very near KSL.

Nice weekend stay

We got a room, probably on the old wing or floor. The door and furniture looks pretty old, with visible scratches. Other members of family were in room that seemed newer and nicer looking. But our room is clean though although the decor needs some work. The bathing area is not separated from the dry areas, so water might flow out and makes the whole toilet floor wet. But am happy with the service of most counter staff, as they helped with check in and late check out. It's near to KSL mall, within walking distance. The drive to other malls are pretty convenient too.

Pros and Cons

Pros: 1) great location, near KSL; 2) helpful staff: most employees we interacted with were nice and efficient; 3) good breakfast spread - loved the local options; and 4) spacious room - we felt like we were staying in a mansion. Cons: 1) our room was very noisy. At first we thought it was a neighboring room. But then the next day I realized it was probably the Ginza Lounge located a floor above. We were staying on the 13th floor and the lounge was on the 14th floor. The front desk did offer a room change but only to a room without bathtubs; 2) faint cigarette smell at times - not sure if this is related to the lounge being on the floor above but at times we had to turn the air con off as we could smell a faint cigarette smoke smell. None of us own cigarettes nor do we smoke. For what it’s worth, the smell went away after a while but it was still extremely disgusting; and 3) light switches not properly labeled - hard to figure out which light switch was for which light, especially when you don’t want to wake your partner up in the middle of the night by clicking the light switch for all the lights in the room.

Checked in for a 1 night couple stay in a Deluxe King room, check in was smooth, staff were helpful and courteous. Room was spacious, sound proofing was reasonable. Did not book with breakfast, so can't comment on breakfast quality or choices. Overall, quite a restful stay
