"We called the hotel the day before arrival to inform them of a late arrival and requested a 1st floor room. I called again on the day of to confirm the 1st floor room and to let them know that we would be arriving later than expected. The front desk staff was very kind and assured me that they would have the requested room available. When we arrived (after midnight), the staff was very nice and checked us in quickly. The area was well-lit, clean, and felt very safe. The room was clean and beds were more comfortable than expected. Throughout our stay, we took enjoyed the breakfast each morning, with the owner even offering to make more food (they were out of some items due to us going towards the end of the breakfast service). In summary: clean and well-lit exterior, safe, good location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds. This hotel exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely stay here if we are in the area again!"
