There are two steep flights of stairs to the room. The sitting area and tea were most welcome. It was a very comfortable place to stay.」

「This was a very cool property in the lovely Mile-End neighborhood in Montreal! Lots of cafes and dining options nearby, and the amazing Joie de Livre bookstore is only a 10 minute walk away. 「This hotel was not as advertised. We paid for a queen bed and got a double. Breakfast was supposed to be included but was not (apparently the app to order breakfast was not working). The computer program for registration was also not working properly. We tried several times in advance to complete the booking online as requested but even after spending half an hour with someone on the phone we couldn’t do it. 「This is a complete unmanned/self-service hotel. If you don't have enough strength and persistence to walk up ~40 stairs with 20 kg luggage, don't choose this. Another impressive thing is that the stove top was packed in a box and placed on the top of the microwave (close to the ceiling). So, the only way of cooking in the room is by using microwave, in the perfect-looking kitchen! I understand that cooking with stove top may cause cleaning difficulties, but a great accommodation is not evaluated...
