I selected this hotel based on TripAdvisor and Hotels.com reviews but was utterly disappointed. It started with a demand for a deposit, although the room was fully paid. Obviously the management doesn’t trust its guests to pay the bill, but the guests have to trust the hotel to take care of their precious belongings while not in the room – and without a deposit to me of course. Staff, however, friendly and helpful.
Room 710 was tiny; I could not open my suite case, unless on the bed or on the floor. The room, bathroom, and linen were clean. Amenities in the bathroom minimal. Water pressure low, but hot water good and fast. Room interior design trying hard to be ‘trendy’ but instead simple non-functional. No place to hang cloths. Good desk with nice view, but alas unusable because no leg room under it.
Room very noisy, not only from outside traffic, but predominantly from the lift engines constantly revving up and down, and other building sounds. Paper-thin walls, so neighbours also contribute to the noise. Wireless network in the room, with good & speedy internet speeds. Airconditioning poor: it took more than 4 hours to lower the room temperature from 27 degrees celsius to 22.
Breakfast extensive choice, mostly Indonesia but also a decent croissant and coffee.
Location probably good for most people, e.g., right across a big mall.
I will not come back to this or any of the other NEO hotels. More value for my money elsewhere.
