Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort, communication

Seems like a genuine scam to me.

Genuinely horrible experience. We used the get directions link on the app. Took us to the middle of the Jakarta slums with roads barely big enough for our taxi. Tried communicating with the hotel through the app, what’s app, and the number they provided for contact, no response. When I finally found the lobby after paying a sketchy guy on the street they would not let us check in, I paid for two nights with the intention of showing up early in the morning after the first night. They said they didn’t have a room for me. I vacated the premises as quickly as possible as I didn’t like the atmosphere for my wife or young daughters.
