"Very lovely older small onsen. Japanese style room was lovely. Futon was a bit old, thin, and firm, far from my first but noticable. Make sure to book dinner, its a walk to other options. Onsen was lovely."

"４月中旬、角館のお花見を目的に、周辺のお宿を探していた中で、温泉もあり、部屋食だったこちらに２泊滞在しました。 一番は、朝晩のお食事が豊富で、大変美味しかったことです。 温かいお料理は（焼物、揚げ物、汁物等）直前に調理されるとのことで、その中でも春野菜の天ぷらがサクサクしていてとても美味しかったです。 また、お子様連れのご家族には、年齢等に合わせてお料理を出してくださるそうです。 昨今、ビュッフェスタイルのホテルや旅館が多い中、このお食事スタイルを変えないのは、料理長さんのこだわりのようです。お食事でのリピーターさんが多いとのこと、納得です。 部屋数も15部屋程なので、大浴場も早めに行ったら貸切状態でゆっくりできました。 家族風呂もあり、とても便利でした。 気になった点は、季節柄小さな虫が多く、男性用の露天風呂には虫が浮いていたようですが、まめに清掃はされているそうです。 スタッフの方々も皆さん親切で、80代の実父もとてもゆったり過ごすことができました。"

"Property is high up a mountain secluded. I did not get the chance to explore the area so I'm not sure if there's other options in, but our option was thru a taxi. Definitely would have to drive up to get up there. The facilities had a fantastic view. The hotel also had a spacious onsen, very well equipped. "Fantastic ryokan, located in a very quiet countryside area. Lots of nature and birds. Very peaceful. You will need a car to get to this ryokan. The road to the ryokan is narrow. Highly recommend! "
