Nice place with a thoughtful receptionist :)

I strongly recommend this place. The perfect location and spacious room made me want to stay longer:) The receptionist, Asım was so friendly, thoughtful and always responded immediately:) He takes care of every tiny details you might need. Thanks again for making my stay comfortable:) I definitely going to stay here again when i come to Istanbul:)

We had a terrible experience. The shower and toilet in the bathroom were broken, everything except the bedding was filthy and dirty, and the furniture was broken and stained. There was no elevator. The staff was helpful, but the hotel is in terrible condition. It doesn't deserve its stars.

The best thing about Hotel Utarit is its location. Just a minute’s walk from Taksim Square, it’s perfect for exploring Istanbul, with trams, funiculars, taxis and ferries nearby, and major attractions walkable within about an hour. The immediate area is full of cafés, restaurants and shops, yet the street itself is surprisingly quiet. Room 6, where we stayed, has a private balcony with afternoon and evening sun, a very comfortable bed with high-quality linen, and strong Wi-Fi. However, the room needs attention. The air conditioning struggles in the day and only cools properly after sunset. Some sockets spark when used, the shower tray leaks heavily, and the shower head was broken most of the stay, only replaced on the final evening. The harsh ceiling light makes the room feel clinical, and the paintwork looks tired. Noise from a neighbour’s TV is audible in the bathroom but not the bedroom, and the heavy main door downstairs shuts loudly, though this wasn’t disruptive on the third floor. Housekeeping was consistent and staff were polite, helpful and spoke good English, though maintenance issues were slow to be resolved. With only six rooms, the hotel feels private and safe, though it can be tricky to spot — look for Tom Yum restaurant and a taxi office next door. With some repairs and cosmetic updates, this could be great value, but in its current state it falls short despite the excellent location.

As someone who travels frequently, I can confidently say that this hotel was the best I've ever stayed in. While I won't go on about the location since it's evident from the map, it was the service that truly stood out during our entire trip. We needed a place to stay between flights and randomly chose this hotel based on its location. However, our first flight was significantly delayed, and we arrived in Istanbul at 1 am. To our pleasant surprise, the hotel had contacted us via the booking service and even left a note on the door with instructions for self-check-in. We called the number they provided and they guided us through the process, even at such a late hour. The following day, we requested an extra hour for check-out to finish some business, and the hotel graciously granted our request. They also helped us with our luggage and provided advice on the best way to get to the airport. They even negotiated with a taxi on our behalf. The room itself was cozy and immaculately clean, and the location was superb. However, it was the exceptional service that truly made our stay memorable. If we ever need to return to Istanbul, we won't even consider any other hotel. To the hotel staff, if you're reading this, please know that you made our short stay the best it could possibly be. We will definitely be coming back!

Muy buen hotel, la limpieza, comodidad, atención, el baño, la situación... La entrada al hotel da una mala imagen del mismo, por lo pequeña que es, por lo demás bien. El ascensor es muy lento. Respecto al precio me parece muy caro, fuimos por la anulación de otra reserva

Una delle camere più pulite e ordinate trovate in Turchia. Posizione strategica. Pensavo la moschea avrebbe dato fastidio ma fortunatamente ha un volume del muezzin ridotto la mattina presto. Non c'è l'ascensore ma il proprietario si incarica del trasporto bagagli. Colazione in linea col prezzo e soprattutto preparata sul momento per quanto riguarda verdure e taglio di carne. Prezzo assolutamente onesto per la posizione e l'offerta data. Camera leggermente poco illuminata ma davvero bella e pulita.

Alles in einem war es ein super Aufenthalt. Der Standort vom Hotel ist meine Meinung nach sehr gut, den es ist nicht direkt am Taksim Square wo es meist laut ist, sondern paar geh Minuten entfernt so das man auch die Ruhe hat ohne groß an Entfernung zu büßen.

3 gun peşin odemeli rezervasyon yaptım ama sadece 2 gun kaldım ekonomik oda diye bizi bodrum katında küf kokan bi oda verildi. Havalandırması fare deliği kadar kucuk penceresi yok . Kahvaltı rezalet. Aynı fıyata daha guzel bi otel buldum ve 3. Gunu başka yerde kaldım annem ve kız kardesimle iğrenç iki gece gecirdik. Resepsiyondakı personale durumu bildirdim bundan haberdar olduklarını soyledı. Madem bu durumdan haberdarsınız kilit vurun odaya ve vermeyın musterilere. Kahvaltı dalga gecer gibiydi SADECE 1 DİLİM DOMATES 3 DİLİM SALATALIK verildi yanında kucuk kutularda kahvaltılık verildi. Biz dilenciye bile daha guzel ilgi gösteriyoruz. Vel hasıl. Olan oldu paramızla 2 berbat gece gecirdik. Tesekkurler.

First of all i would thank the guy on tge reception i don't know his name but he was super friendly he helped us with our luggage carrying them to the room , weighting them before going to the airport he is fluent in English the hotel location is 1 min Walking distance from istikla street and 2 mins from the Metro station we took a small room with 2 bed the room service is beyond perfect ! There is a woman with a beautiful smile who cleans the room each time after we left the hotel to start our journey !! If u really want a small room that was our option there is bigger rooms this hotel does the job perfectly

Chambre triple éco -> fuyez

Tres proche taksim, receptionniste tres aimable, hotel globalement propre. Je reste néanmoins tres déçue par la qualité de la chambre attribuée. Photo mensongère (un visuel de fenetre lumineuse qui n est autre qu'une fausse fenetre avec une lumiere Led dedans !!!), tromperie (il etait indiquè Rez de chaussée, alors qu'on est au sous-sol), prix élevé de cette chambre comparé aux chambres des étages qui semble sans aucune malhonnêteté. La chambre triple economisue est 1 euro plus chère que celles des étages. J'ai malheureusement pris une chambre qui s'avère être sans fenêtre en sous sol, avec vmc hyper bruyante inarretable, odeur de renfermé tres nette... heureusement nous ne sommes pas claustrophobes ! détail couchage j ai du demandé un draps car il n y avait qu'un petit par-dessus à se mettre dessus. Évidemment quanf c'est l'heure des petits dej ou des check in / check out le plafond communique assez bien le bruit

Gayet güler yüzle karşılandım, çay ikram ettiler hoş sohbet ettik, oda tertemizdi, yataklar rahattı. Odada kettle, çay, kahve, su ücretsiz, mini buzdolabı var. konumu taksim meydanına 1 dk yürüme uzaklığında. Kahvaltı da gayet beklentileri karşılıyordu. Ben kesinlikle beğendim bir daha Taksim'de otelde kalmam gerekirse tek tercihim olacak. I was welcomed with a smile and was offered a tea which was great. Rooms are extremely clean and beds are comfortable. The location is also very close to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street is only 1 min. I absolutely liked my stay and will be my go-to hotel if I ever need to stay in Taksim anytime.

Nice and clean hotel.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was simple but nice , comfortable and clean. The location was very excellence, near metro and shopping area. We arrived taksim to the point hotel by airport shuttle bus. From here to to hotel us about 700m , it is walkabke but you would need Gps or a map. No body on the street or staff of the hotel nearby will know the location of it. Taking a taxi you would also show them the map as the utarit is a small hotel. The fare is about 10 tl and you need bargain if the driver refuse using meter.
