The property is on the boundary line of polished touristic region and real Turkey. You can experience both. Located in old Constantinople and close to many attractions. Area is safe. Streets toward Bosphorus provide good local food.

I stayed 3 nights at the Baron Hotel in Istanbul and the experience was really disappointing. It started with the coffee bar in the lobby where the lady working there was rude, and the WiFi barely worked the whole time. My room was right under a loud restaurant, and even though the hotel lists all rooms as air-conditioned, the AC didn’t work at all. I had to keep the window open 24/7 just to get some air, which meant constant noise from outside. Basic amenities were also a problem. The soap dispenser was empty and never refilled, there was no water or tea kettle in the room, no tissue box, and not even a towel rack in the bathroom. The shower water turned cold after five minutes. The fitness center didn’t open until 3:00pm, and the guy working there acted strange and even got angry that I was exercising with a long-sleeve shirt on—he actually wanted me to take it off, which made no sense. At the reception, only one girl spoke English; the men didn’t and they didn’t smile or engage with guests. Breakfast wasn’t good either—very few options and the boiled eggs were frozen cold. When I called around 7pm on a Saturday to ask about room service and the restaurant, they told me everything was closed. Even the other guests behaved unusually; people stared in a weird way and the overall atmosphere just didn’t feel like a normal luxury hotel experience. Overall, nothing matched the way the hotel presents itself, especially the false claim that all rooms are air-conditioned

Struttura perfettamente inserita nel quartiere di Sultanahmet, tramvia vicina e principali attrazioni a poca distanza. Camera perfettamente pulita, peccato che si sentisse l'inconfondibile odore di nicotina nella stanza. Colazione abbondante ma non tutto freschissimo come la frutta ad esempio. Per chi cerca l'espresso o il cappuccino deve prenderlo nel bar della hall perché nella sala colazione c'è solo caffè americano. Il personale molto gentile. Hotel con piccola spa e una massaggiatrice molto gentile. Se siete amici, cercate di avere gli stessi orari per entrare e uscire dalla camera perché per ogni stanza hanno una sola chiave magnetica.

Very well located within walking distance or a short T1 tram ride of most of Istanbul's iconic sites- Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, & Suleymaniye Mosque. Has a spa with sauna, steam room & pool. Turkish coffee & tea available 24/7 at the lobby bar. Breakfast varied & interesting with both savoury & sweet options in a dining room with views of Sea of Marmara. Dinner menu straightforward notably with good plainly cooked fish from the griddle, & helpful waiter: a good option if you don't want to venture too far in the evening after an exhilarating, but tiring day in the Sultanahmet. Overall, an excellent value hotel.

When we checked in here, I thought we won’t be able to last here more than a day, however once I got a feel of the area & Staff, I really liked it. We did a quick walk to Hagia Sophia & got a feel of the area. They offer Free Coffee, Tea etc 24 Hours. Close to historic places & shopping (Grand Bazar), walking distance or take tram. No Iron in room, if you are like me & wants your clothes ironed, bring your own, lol or hotel can do it for you for $2-$3 / piece. We got 1 bedroom suite with 1 King & 2 Twin Bed. Enough room for 4 People. Free Breakfast is on 7th Floor, amazing view & amazing food selection. We had dinner here also & really loved the food & service. They also have pool, spa & gym. We didn’t have time to use it unfortunately. Will I stay here again. Not sure. Because on my next trip to Istanbul, I would like to create another new experience instead of repeating the last one.

I stayed here with my daughter for a week for her 21st Birthday. Staff are all very good and accommodating. Facilities are excellent around the spar. The location is very convenient for the grand bizarre and all local attractions. Hotel breakfast is a buffet, which was very good and informal. Overall I would recommend the hotel for anyone, very safe and comfortable with excellent staff. Paul and Millie (UK)
