Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA

Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA

8/10 Good
"The room was big, seemed more sound-proof compared to other hotels i’ve been to, and the staff were great. But the annoying / frustrating part: they decided to renovate 2 of their 3 elevators to “modernize” them, so only 1 elevator was available for a building with 28 floors. i’m not sure why they decided to do this in August, a busy tourist time in Seattle, or do 2 at the same time rather than one at a time, so it was a good 5-10 minutes waiting for the elevator and it was always packed since again, one elevator for 28 floors. Very frustrating decision from the hotel, especially that there was no warning when booking or before you get to the hotel about this. And everyone was on floors 14+, so it’s not like you can just take the stairs a few flights up."
