Left for a late breakfast and the room was made up before we got back. Fastest service I've ever had in a hotel. Loved, loved, loved the shower.

Always great to come back to the Lotte NY Palace for our annual Veterans Day weekend trip. We’ve stayed here for the last four years and will continue. The hotel is in a great location. The double beds seem larger than normal and are comfortable and the rooms are large. The service is always outstanding. ...

I don't like anything that disturbs me, as cars honking, which is against the law in New York and inccurs a $250 fine to unnecessarily honk.
They need to clean up the area. There's a lot of homeless people and/or beggars around the area. Neighbors on the next room smoked marijuana in their room; and were loud, cursing, and aggressive (could hear them through the thin walls).
I dont had the oportunity to go arround tht city. Only used the city to stay close to manhatan
Security fences and bars on windows on most of the buildings. Great deal of litter (papers cans, broken glass) on streets & yards. Sidewalks broken & hazardous. Would not stay in Irvington again.
Avoid at night.
