「The staff were great but the property could do with a bit of an upgrade. Shower nozzle was blocked and the shower gel was empty. That being said it was not expensive and we had good craic with Dougie and the other locals in the bar.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at The Beach House. We are a family of 4 with young children and a dog. We had a quadruple family room which was a really good size and nicely finished with a wonderful loch view. The location is excellent, with a little beach outside that was completely empty whenever we went, despite the nearby village feeling busy. 「This was an absolute gem of a place. The owners were so thoughtful and provided just about every kind of tea, coffee, wagon wheels, tunics tea cakes and a cracking breakfast ! Room was compact but contained everything one needed when doing the west highland way and it is literally on route (about 6’ away). So much nicer than the enormous campsite hippy hobbit house place and the saga-bus-holiday hotel.」

「The house itself is lovely, the room was very comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were accommodating when we had some delays checking in and out. The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak.」
