「Great service. Location was wonderful. No heater in the room but had good down blankets on the beds. Older rooms but clean. There are common areas to hang out in with others but a 10p noise rule. Allowed us to fill up water bottles with filtered water. The only con I have would be that the reception person told us that they could not use American credit cards and we had to pay in cash. No problem but would have liked to know in advance to ensure we had enough cash. Would stay again.」

「Very agreeable staff. Clean room. Tucked away in residential area on side street. Close proximity to square, Hot water for shower was nearly non-existent and Resort view is definitely not worth the additional expense. Tiny rooftop deck that accommodates 2 guests max. Leaving the door open brought street noise and smell of smoke from local neighboring street market. Overall sweet but only at a reduced price.」

「There was no water in the taps/shower on day 1. The lady at reception knew about it in the night itself about the water problem when we checked in but never tried to sort out or arrange anything. Next day morning when we were rushing to catch our train, we realised there's no water. Next day, she said it's all sorted but when we reached in night it was all cold water. Don't recommend to anyone.」

「If you are travelling to Ollantaytambo, you have to stay at The Quechua Lodge. The property is so pretty, the location is wonderful, and it is incredibly relaxing and Zen. It has a cozy, small community feel where you immediately feel at home. Edith and her husband Stijn were absolutely amazing. What really set them apart was how they cared for me when I got sick during my stay. They actually went to the pharmacy themselves to get me medicine and made sure I was looked after until I recovered....

「I think this is a typical hotel in this community. You get what you pay for. It felt a little bit like camping with the lack of amenities and cold water, but it’s all apart of the experience. The staff was nice. We saw the same fellow everyday I don’t think he had time off.」

「Room was modest but lovely. Breakfast was awesome. The staff were helpful and charming. Really enjoyed the gardens. Highly recommended.」

「Everything was great however the internet connection was terrible. So if you need to work an hour or two on your stay you have to go to the main hut and hope the starlings performing there as your tent’s wifi is pretty much only gonna let you check emails (maybe). No video conferencing or opening attachments.」

「Right in the center of town, we got up in the morning (they actually packed up aTakeaway breakfast for us) and walked four blocks to the train. They were actually very helpful the next day when it turned out, our agent had not planned for our return to Cusco so we got back to the hotel and they called a friend who got us a taxi. We were pretty tired. They went above and beyond. I’d recommend this place to anybody going to MP」
