「Due to excessive external temperatures during my stay staff had left the windows open which was understandable in the circumstances. Unfortunately my room (215) overlooked the High Street below. From 0400 hrs the noise from heavy agricultural traffic was constant. I accept it was my choice to continue to get a circulation of air into the room however it was at the cost of being awake very early in the day. Next time would book a room facing the rear of the property. Impressive hotel 8/10」

「Hotel needs updating. We paid for a sea view room but not value for money. Needs a thorough clean. Not enough staff and a couple were rude. Don't visit if they have coach party because at breakfast although it states times coach parties are catered for first as tables are reserved for them other guests have to find a table, which we were not told about and when we asked one nember of staff how it works for tables etc..she was so rude and told us if there isn't one available we would just...

「The room had a lot of dirty marks, very old and outdated and could do with painting. Outside the front of the hotel there were two overflowing bins which were still there when we left. As soon as you walked into the hotel the floor was dirty. When we looked out of our room there was a big pile of rubbish bags at the bottom of the car park. Went for breakfast and had to clear plates off the table onto another table, because every vacant table had dirty plates on. The glass door to the dining...

「A great little hotel, the whole property including the staff were very warm and inviting. It was relaxing and you’re made to feel like a local. The food was delicious and if you want a snack I would highly recommend the pickled onion rings with warm honey…. Amazing!!」
