「The staff made a big effort, there was a big choice for breakfast which was delicious and the property was in a good condition. 」

「We paid 90 pounds for a 3 single-beded room but got a 70 ponds room. The staff said it not possible to chang the room but are willing to return our money back. The staff is friendly but somehow we still frustrated about the negotiations.」

「The room was great, clean, tidy and lots of space and the value, I thought, was excellent. Checkin was a little slow, felt more like a pub with a side hotel. It felt the barmaid was busy with customers, taking priority over hotel guests. That said, everything else was as good as could have been expected.」

「We had a super stay at Hillcrest; Mark & his father were very welcoming and supportive and the breakfasts were fab! Our room was really clean and comfortable and the en-suite was exceptional; we wish we could have transferred it to our own home. If we are ever in this part of the world again, there is absolutely no doubt where we would stay - at HILLCREST! 「Surprisingly quiet despite being off the A1 the front of the property is a corridor to the rooms which offers sound protection from the A1 . The rooms overlooked a nice field with a view of the sea. The staff were friendly and a decent restaurant on site .」
