「Travelled with 2 puppies was worried about how things would be. Didn’t need to be worried as dog friendly rooms available & staff very accommodating. Meals served all day & a good variety to choose from. Have booked for close family to stay later in the year.」

「I had high expectations of this hotel as it had recently won an excellence award, displayed in reception. I stayed in one of the lakeside cabins and it was as advertised, a beautiful hotel room on the water..the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The decorative pillows looked shabby due to clicks in the fabric and very creased. 「The pictures on the site do not represent the reality of this hotel. It’s currently very run down and in need of lots of work. We stayed for 3 nights, we only had 3 towels and although we asked for more twice, were not given any and they weren’t changed during our stay. The bathroom looked new but unfinished. There was nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower, the floor was slippy (I bought a rubber mat for them) the toilet flush was dodgy and neither the fan or light above the mirror worked....

That said, the cleanliness of the room occupied was at best ok while shelf space was extremely limited. 「Clean room good breakfast Room had no window to look out of only sky light. Shower only, broken shower holder so had to hold with one hand while showering. No extractor fan in toilet and no window tried to change room but non available glad it was only 2 nights」
