「Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. Only downside for me personally was that I didn’t find the...

「Lovely stay in a quaint area. Beach walks from the doorstep and our dog was treated well throughout the stay. The outdoor dog wash was really handy too! Food was delicious and bed was comfy」

「A really lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, very well maintained and spotless hotel, our room was spacious with a fantastic terrace overlooking the castle, large well appointed bathroom. Excellent food in the restaurant. My wife is coeliac and they knew exactly how to cater for her dietary requirements, nothing was too much trouble. And the location is perfect, across the road from the castle and short walk to the local shops, bars and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again 」

「Fantastic comfortable hotel - Lovely, tastefully decorated rooms which were warm, cozy and spacious . The staff were fantastic and friendly and extremely informative and helpful . We enjoyed our meals in the bistro including breakfast in 3 mornings and an evening meal - the food was delicious and every attention to detail was given. We were very impressed with all aspects of our stay and will definitely book again when back in Northumbria!」
