"I made a mistake and booked for the wrong night. When I got to the motel, I explained it to the man on duty who called the manager, and they promised me that they would work with Expedia to refund my stay. But the next day, Expedia called them and they refused the refund so I was stuck paying for two nights. It’s a cheap motel, not very nice and not very clean, but it would have been honest of them to have told me that they were not going to approve my refund so I could have stayed elsewhere....
