"Our cabin has a pretty bad lean to it. You could set a water bottle down and it would roll to the front door. Made for a fun bathroom trip in the middle of the night. Tako is an interesting place. Good drinks but just not enough regular Mexican food choices to want to try. The hotel is up a pretty steep driveway so if you're not able to make the climb, make sure to take their free shuttle."

"Rebecca at the front desk was extremely helpful. After being on the road for a week, we were Grateful to have a guest laundry available. There is also a microwave in the laundry room which came in handy to reheat pizza."

"This lovely gem had the most incredible view I’ve ever seen! The room was clean and had all the little things we needed for our stay. It has a very nice outdoor space for guests to use. We also saw a moose and her calf walking in the lake. I highly recommend this inn."

"Great views but on a high cliff which means relying on buses and additional transportation costs in the Denali park area. It was clean but we did get a room which had an elevator next to it and lots of sound from the clothes washing room too. In terms of baggage transfer from the railroad depot to the hotel, we experienced some mishaps with our luggage too and had to complain about missing-materials / torn bags. The Lodge pointed fingers at the Alaska Railroad while the train depot claimed that usually it’s the hotel staff that transfer the luggage in a rough manner. So not entirely a pleasant experience but the views were amazing ofcourse. Can’t complain about Denali!"

"Photos don't do justice to this great property. Quiet, secluded, yet accessible. Had every appliance and more readily available. A lot more neat and comfortable than the photos suggest. Definitely could have enjoyed more of the grill and dining area but a miss on me for not planning on it."
