"This property was charming, but the stairs to the loft are more like a ladder than stairs. They are probably not to code and are dangerous. Also, there needs to be hooks or clothes rack(s) in the sleeping area. No where to hang clothes except over the railings. All in all, a very nice place, but we would not book again because of the dangerous stair situation. "

"The room was fine. Kitchenette was micro sized, barely usable and the shower head was a joke. Place was clean and comfortable but my goodness a lot of stairs, really hard for a disabled Senior."

"Pictures can be deceiving. There’s no access to the beach and no view at all. The overall look of the property is very ghetto. No on-site front desk. The PDF instructions provided contained wrong room number - the rooms are in fact LETTERS (spent 20 minutes parked waiting for a call back from the office/guest support). In addition, we were provided the wrong WI-FI information so no TV or internet for the entire stay. Spent a good amount of time trying to resolve the issue on the WIFI so we...

Great stay in Quinault

"Quinault is a beautiful and magical place. Our room had a small patio facing the lake, such a beautiful view! The room was a bit dated but we really didn’t care much about it. The location is perfect for hikes, swimming and just relaxing! The hotel is across the street from the Salmon House Restaurant where we had a great dinner. Would definitively recommend this hotel!"

Wonderful stay, will hopefully be back!

"We had so much fun staying here! The staff was so friendly, the room was spacious, and the hotel was quiet. We didn’t hear anyone else minus a few stomps above us but beyond that, it was quiet. They provided pool towels, a full kitchen and the pillows were super comfy! The beach access is a 10-15min flat walk through some well maintained trails. We’ve never been to Ocean Shores for the 4th of July and the fireworks did not disappoint! "

"I truly enjoyed staying at Shiny Motel on two separate occasions recently. It is clean, comfortable, and quite adorable. The owners make sure you feel safe and assist you with whatever you need. I was helped with my heavy luggage and even borrowed a clothes steamer directly from the owner! The warmth and hospitality is first rate! If you’re looking for a cute and unique place to stay Shiny Motel is the place. My son, who had a house full of people already was worried about where I would be staying during my trip there. He came with me when I checked in to scope the place out. He was very happy and relieved upon meeting the owners and seeing how things are set up. He is a fan as well now. Thank you, Shiny Motel!"
