Outstanding, friendly check=in person. Pleasantly surprised by attractive, spotless room. What needs upgrading is the toilet which is way too low... especially for older guests. Too bad the riverfront rooms do not have view of river from nice, spacious deck.

Stayed here last summer and room was larger and very clean and fresh. This time Room had a very strong soapy chemical smell. The room was clean enough for a night. The fan/ac was extremely old and noisy. It kept me awake most of the night and didn’t feel like it was doing much of anything. Time to replace the unit! We will stay elsewhere next time we visit Hood River.

Proprietor refused to give me a 1st floor room because I booked on line with Expedia. He lied and said that Expedia assigned the specific room and he cannot change it in the system and had I booked direct he would give me the 1st floor. I had to contact Expedia and eventually he gave the room only after a call from Expedia.

Stayed the night during Cider Fest in town. Appears that it was recently remodeled but some parts still dated. The shower had very little pressure but appears there is an install issue with the facet. Overall clean and friendly staff. Good value for price. Conveniently located near stores and restaurants. We will be back next year.

Wonderful folks at check in. I hadn't realized the property was 2 level and I told the lady in the office that I couldn't climb the stairs. She switched me from an upstairs room to the first floor. She also encouraged me to check during busy season, letting the staff know when I made reservations. The room is spotless, comfortable, and has plenty of 110v and connections for my phone, computer, etc.

Good spot, great price
While other hotels near mt hood are charging astronomical prices, this hidden gem is becoming a preferred option for us because of its cost effectiveness and good quality. It’s our second time staying there and we have several more upcoming reservations to look forward to!

Really clean and cozy. The man at the service desk was rude. Very rude I had to have a key to use my lights in my bathroom and he snapped at me because I was confused. Otherwise very awesome place to go for the night. Reasonable price not very good for toiletries or warmth. Ac sucks I would recommend.

The staff was very friendly at check-in. The room was well maintained and clean overall. There was just a little stain on the white curtain and the sink had a bit of a slow drain. Bed was comfortable. The shower was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again

The male owner is really rude he was ok most of the time except when I asked for the price of 4 nights he was super short and just rude. His wife is a complete sweetheart super helpful and she's amazing and runs everything perfectly. It's really clean here and I think it's a reasonable price. Just hope the husband starts to be more nice if he wants my business again.

This is a budget priced motel that is very clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed. It was a good value. We will stay again when looking for a value priced accommodation in Hood River with a convenient location!
