The location was good; close to restaurants and sights. However, even tho we requested housekeeping, we were given none. Trash was not emptied, beds were not made.

We are sorry you were not happy with your stay . To complete a stayover the beds have to be free of any of your belongs and trash has to placed in the receptible. We were not clear what you wanted removed from the room so we just left towels etc .

The view is really nice from the property. The location is pretty nice, walkable. They are dog friendly. Our room wasn’t updated yet, and unfortunately the hot tub was out of order which was something we were really looking forward too. But the staff was very nice.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us . You booked a single queen room for 99.00 a night which does not come with a dinning table etc. We keep our prices one of lowest in the gorge , we do have suites if you would have liked to upgrade which do come with kitchen's . It was very clean and convenient, but the cleaning products were extremely perfumey and the scent is stuck to my clothing and my travel gear for many days. The hot tub was broken or unavailable, and I was not notified of that before booking. I was told there is a pool, but I was not told that it was tiny. However, my kids really enjoyed it. I just think that they should be upfront about that. The staff was pleasant and accommodating.

We did our best to accommodate you, If I'd known prior that you were sensitive to cleaning agents we would have put you in a room that was cleaned using different products. I told you we only have a pool at this time and pictures of our pool are available when you book . The spa has been taken off all sites due to its being updated with a replacement. It was fast, easy to check in and out. The lady in the office was very friendly and polite. They did some remodeling on some rooms, the one we stayed in anyhow. It was cute. I would recommend it to anybody staying in Hood River. Very very nice place.

Sorry you did not enjoy you stay with us . When you checked in late I informed you for our safety policy we have a walk up window at night for late night check ins . After several minutes of you wanting to come inside I did let you in the office to complete your paperwork . Its not being" fearful" sir its being cautious . When you left the office you were in good spirits so i assumed you were happy and left with a smile. You wanted a updated room that would accommodate pets that is the only room I had open at the time on the bottom floor so I could not move you as you requested . The view is the property there is no one room that has a view you requested . Under the TV there are drawers to put clothing in and also a rack to hang items by the back window . Not sure how this place has 8/10 stars… The lady at the front was quite unfriendly, she was short and snarky like we were inconveniencing her. Called early in the day and asked if we could check in early, we had a wedding at 4 we needed to get ready for, she said no checkin is at 3, period. Got there about 2:45 and were then told checkin was at 4, even though in my confirmation email and over the phone it was confirmed 3. Got to our room, it was pretty shabby & dated, very poor lighting which made getting ready tough. Morning of checkout someone knocked on our door @ 10:45 to “check on us”. Then someone called at 11 on the dot to ask when we were leaving and that we had 15 mins to be out. Overall just a very poor experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone Location was convenient and price was decent, parking was good, and there are two breakfast / brunch spots within walking distance. Those are the only good things I have to say

Sorry you did not enjoy your stay . You called several days in a row and the day of the stay each time you were told maybe by 3 . We try our best to get people in by 3pm during this busy season that why we can not offer late check outs that why at 11am I gave you an extra 15 min which turned into over a hour . You arrived at 1 50 pm and we did our best to accommodate you after your card was also declined and you did not even want to fill out my registers paperwork which was my frustration . I felt no matter what i did it would not be enough and that reflects above .

This was the worst hotel experience. Check in was fine but it went downhill from there. The TV was not getting any cable channels. Called the front desk for info on how to work the TV and was told the only TV was through streaming services but had to use my own access. The toilet also clogged on first use so called to get it fixed. Asked if maintenance could also check the TV while we were out for the evening because it looked like a cable box was connected to the TV. When we returned, the TV was working but the toilet was not. However, they left the plunger for me to do it myself. Apparently, that was a good thing since it clogged again. The actual worst part was that the walls were so thin we could hear the person in the room next to us so clearly on the phone that we could hear the person’s voice that he was talking to. Around midnight, he and his daughter (we know this because we could hear them so clearly) had a fight that went on until we finally knocked on the wall and asked for them to quiet down. They finally did but around 2AM they began talking loudly again and roughhousing. This time, we called the front desk to handle it but there was no answer. So again, we knocked on the wall and asked them to quiet down. They finally did, but by then we had lost a good portion of our night’s sleep. I couldn’t wait for the front desk to ask about our evening when we checked out only to find out they don’t staff the front desk at 7AM when we left.

We did all we could do to accommodate your stay I even moved you rooms at 12am without hesitation and you still came back the next afternoon to start a argument with me that i charged for the room move which I did not . I also asked other guest next to you and they didn't hear a thing so I am not sure what you were hearing , Toilets get clogged so we did bring you a plunger as you requested and fixed the tv. The office hours are posted on the door of the office 9am to 10pm the phone is answered after hours which you know because you were moved at 12am. Thank you for staying with us

We had a room for two nights for two people... this meant we would be there for daytime as well. We were not provided any chairs to sit on or other furniture, only 2 beds. Also, due to power outage, we were put in a temporary room and then had to make arrangements to move to a new room. This was not the fault of management or staff, and they were very helpful... but we should have been reimbursed some of our stay for the inconvenience.

Sorry the power went out it was not in our control . We placed you in a temp room so that you had a place to relax but do not consider that s reason to get a refund for your stay . We have chairs placed outside the room you can use . Thank you for staying with us

Great Gorge Views!
Really enjoyed our stay here! Room 23 is the best as it gives you a window to see the gorge and all the sailers!!! The patio was very nice to sit and drink coffee on. Thanks!

Good price for a clean, quiet hotel! View of the river from my corner room window. Indoor pool is a perk. Walking distance to restaurants. Room was spacious. I'd stay here again.
