Great staff, good water pressure in the shower, lots of cafes around, close to the ocean, they give you large beach towels that you can exchange as needed. Nice welcoming atmosphere. It does only have one elevator for the whole hotel, so there is often a wait. And there does not seem to be a shared microwave for the rooms that don’t have a kitchen; adding that would go a long way, most similar hotels have a microwave on each floor. The lobby should be warmer, at times it was extremely cold to walk through. It’s an older building, and while the rooms aren’t updated at all, they are of a decent size. It is good to have carpeting throughout, it helps dampen the interior noise, that is much appreciated. AC worked well. Cleaning is on request, and they do a good job. Good trip!

Staff is helpful couteous . Sense of aloha while there. Close to the beach with a small store even closer. Room was clean and bed comfortable. There is coffee pot in room but no microwave. Staff would microwave food if needed. Laundry facility nice to use. Unable to use tub no sropper. Noise pollution from city surroundings very low

The staff was nice. The picture of the room i booked was a lot nicer than the room i actually received. The pictures looked light and airy but my room was rather dark and dirty. The room was very dated, popcorn ceilings were dirty and showed where repairs had been made. The carpet was dirty and the wallpaper was dirty and peeling in places. The place could use updates. And im surprised they dont replace the carpets with waterproof LVT flooring. I knew i was getting the "economy" room but either update the room or the pictures on the expedia website so guests arent suprised when they check in.The A/C unit was new and the water pressure was excellent. Maybe put in an shower head with adjustable spray options. The cheap one they had installed was a needle like spray type that felt like it could remove your skin.

Check in/out was simple and fast. The room was a standard room but perfect for what we needed. Took a quick weekend trip from the Florida over so our stay was only 3 days, didn’t need much and was gone from sunrise on. The view of Diamond Head was great from our balcony too. Don’t expect much but a clean room and bed to sleep in.

Rooms are clean, but you know it’s apart of history when there’s that wet smell. If you’re looking for something luxury. This isn’t the place but if you need to have a clean room to rest your head while traveling for the price it’s affordable. I think the rooms need a sprucing up but other than that it is a perfect place just to have somewhere to sleep. I enjoyed the one night I was there.

Dirty rooms. After 4 days of staying there,I have to ask for a tissue and clean towels. Mold and bugs in the bathroom. No fan in the bathroom. The picture on the website, doesn’t show a current condition of the rooms.
