「Food was excellent. It would have been useful to have booked our dining times perhaps on booking as times were so limited on the second night we had to go to the local pub which was disappointing. Very comfy bed. Spa treatment lovely. Overall a lovely relaxing time」

「We stayed one Saturday night in early August. A nice welcoming hotel with ample parking. We had a premier room which was very comfortable, quiet, and had pleasant views over the gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and reminded us that everything in the minibar was complimentary! 「Couldn’t recommend The Tenpus at Charlton Hall more! We stayed in one of the lakeside lodges and had such a lovely relaxing time. We had planned to eat at the Lobster Pot in Bamburgh but lucky for us they were a chef down and couldn’t accommodate us so we ate in the Tempus restaurant which was outstanding. I didn’t catch our servers name but he was so friendly and made us very welcome. Food was delicious. Can’t wait to book again… absolutely loved everything about our visit.」
