"The most beautiful resort we have ever stayed in. Amenities on amenities and incredibly kind staff.They upgraded our room which was so generous and the view was to die for. So peaceful! We loved our time here as we were attending a wedding on the property. Do be warned the dining options are very expensive and there aren’t many affordable options near the property. "

"We liked that this resort was located on the coast. Sunsets were spectacular!! We liked the Lagoon (guaranteed to see marine life especially sea turtles), various swimming pools (including an adult pool), Dolphin Quest including "Sunrise with Dolphins", light breakfast (provided with our package deal) with 100% Kona Coffee from coffee shop located on the property, tram and boat for getting around, etc. What we didn't like: not enough affordable eating places on the property. We did eat at the Lagoon Grill twice which had good food with affordable prices but choices were limited. We ate at the Italian Restaurant. The food was tasty but way over priced. We were grateful for Food Trucks which came onto the property on a Wednesday night. Good choice. AND we were glad that the Kings Shop and Queens Marketplace was nearby (within a 20-30 minute walk) or take the shuttle for $5 per person. We would have preferred having a breakfast buffet included with our getaway package. Paying an additional $55 for a breakfast buffet was too expensive for us. While we had a standard room (not newly renovated), it was fine but we would have liked having a microwave in the room. Overall, we were pleased with our tropical getaway which Expedia provided. Thank you!!"

"Just a lovely apartment - safe, 10 min drive from the town center, pool, beaches were close by and the ocean right behind! Kitchen was well equipped, balcony was beautiful, parking was plenty and mainly it was central to almost everything. We loved everything about the property. We also got pool towels, which was included in the resort fee, and we could take it anywhere and we can return them later. "

"At reception, Mandi and Ann were always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They took care of all my requests in a satisfactory manner. And the room was bigger than I expected. Great view, too!"

"Kona Coast was a Great Resort and perfect location for access to shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean and very spacious it was exactly what we needed. But, to be honest I was very skeptical because of the reviews about the roaches but Thank God we did not encounter any roaches in our place but I did wake up everyday fearful that I may see one so I wasn’t totally at ease during my stay. We were on the 3rd floor in Section 30 so very close to the restaurant, pool and gym so it was perfect. The food and drinks at the restaurant was delicious and we ate there everyday for breakfast or lunch. Their breakfast sandwiches were a big hit. Im glad we decided to pick this resort despite some of the negative reviews. It was a Grest stay and I highly recommend it if you find the availability. "
