霍爾登湖飯店的精選推薦

1. 谷倉飯店及水療中心

距離霍爾登湖 17.5 公里

「Very disappointed. We had to hunt for someone to check us in on arrival. The restaurant was only open one evening of our stay. The food was disappointing and we waited for an hour one evening for bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, olives and a cheese board. We were there from Saturday till Friday morning. The room was clean but the beds were small and bedding only just covered the top of the bed. At the pool I was told to get my towel from my room otherwise I would have to pay....

「Disappointed with room, cold - one radiator didn’t appear to work and one needed reprogramming in order to get warmth. The duvet was thin meaning we were cold during the night, and the bed was uncomfortable, so much so we nearly got up and drove home. Shower had black mould on head & pipe. There was a dirty towel, wedged behind the door on the bathroom floor. I went to use a beaker and saw that it was stained so gave up using anything in the kitchen.」

「First impressions of the hotel were excellent and overall it is a lovely place with generally attentive staff. All was going well and the receptionist said that we were lucky as our room was air conditioned, while others were not. We had been allocated room 6 and on opening the door there was an interesting staircase which split in two at a small landing with one set of stairs going to the bedroom, with the other leading to the shower room. Getting between the rooms you have to be very...

「Location was a plus since you don’t have to deal with congested traffic in the city. Free parking an obvious plus. Food was decent. Staff and service very good. The only real negative was one of hygiene. It was noticeable that when customers used the toilet facilities and failed to wash their hands, they would return to the restaurant and handle the utensils stacked in the containers on the table. In future, I would take wipes and clean before using.」

「This hotel is an amazing location, just 2-3 minute walk out the door to the cathedral (which is amazing) and similar to the castle. Lovely room (we had a fabulous view of the cathedral) , plenty of room, lovely bathroom and toiletries. Quiet too once the bells stopped at 10! Friendly and welcoming staff, and a good meal in the Antlers restaurant. A big downside for me was the mattress which was really uncomfortable, I could feel the springs digging into my hips so didn’t sleep well. I’d still...
