「A lovely hotel with beautiful views. Very nice restaurant with very good breakfast & dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very disappointed to find the pool out of order after our long drive, guess we should have rang ahead. Bedroom ok, bed & bedding good. There was an air on unit set up and plugged in but it was dead, there was a fan that was incredibly loud at night. Also most of the light fixtures didn’t seem to work. Shower was ok. 「Air con centrally controlled. When queried, staff said they would switch it over so that I could control it myself (during the heatwave). Despite asking twice, it never happened, Had to ask for a fridge, which I thought would have been standard in a 4* hotel. Patio door to balcony was locked with a key and some sort of wire that had seen better days. Lovely lounge bar but closed during our stay. Breakfast was ok, but help yourself to hot drinks via machines, losing the chance to interact...
