「What a fantastic stay we had as two couples celebrating my birthday. How lucky was I to receive a complimentary room upgrade which was a great surprise. The room had a side view overlooking the water, a comfortable king bed and spacious bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with so many cooked options. The hotel was central in Fowey, so everything was easily walkable. Sitting on the terrace with a drink on the water was a really calming area. Can’t recommend this fantastic find enough 」

「The only slight disappointment was the waiting time at the table for our meals which is why I only scored four stars on service. However, everything else was superb. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The rooms were clean and well kept. The staff were extremely pleasant and courteous and we would not hesitate to stay again in the future.」

「Had friendly welcome. Room excellent. Food available throughout the day. Entertainment at the weekend. Best breakfast ever. Lovely to walk around the town and visit the museum. Would recommend this pub for a long or short stay.」

「Lovely bolt hole for a few days away visiting various places in Cornwall by train and bus. Just a note to self, if we stayed another time I'd bring dry shampoo as the water pressure wasn't great for my hair. Also if you have a weak bladder, make sure you book 」

「Didn't like repeated auto emails asking for self check in and credit card details for incidentals. Didn't like silly health and safety window locks that didn't allow airflow into room. Fans are not at all adequate on hot days. I wonder where health and safety stands if one faints due to the heat on hot days or the risk or access if there is a fire. I did like that reception staff was very helpful to find me another room on the cooler side of the building. TVs need upgrading to Smart TVs. 」

「Lovely B&B. We were extremely pleased with our stay here. We were in a cozy double room with an en-suite. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The couple running the hotel were friendly and exceptionally hospitable. The included full English breakfast is fantastic. Would absolutely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here. The value for money is fantastic. It is a perfect location to explore Cornwall!」

「We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. 」
