"The initial room I was assigned had an obvious issue with the HVAC unit. The thermostat was set to 68, but the room temperature was actually 84. I got another room. By the end of my stay, there was a problem with the HVAC unit in the 2nd room. The hotel provides free WIFI, but the performance is throttled down to 10 Mb. I had much better performance with my cell phone using cellular data. I used that when I had to. When I checked in I requested a room on the 2nd floor. I thought that would be the top floor because the hotel near the front is two stories. What I didn't know was the back of the hotel is 3 stories. Can you guess where my room was? I eventually ended up with someone in the room over me. I could easily hear them walking across their floor, which vibrated the ceiling over my head. Pack ear plugs if you get a room like I had."

From the jim to the pool to the breakfast in the morning?And the little store by the checking counter. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are very favorable. I will stay here again and again. The fires set the mood for a peaceful evening and conversation with new friends... Great prices before the summer crowd."

"Okay, I know it's the "off-season," and y'all are not that busy but .... when you tell me there will be coffee and granola bars at 8:00 AM and there are neither for two days, that ticks me off. There were 4 parking spots total. I had to park illegally one night. Nobody at the front desk ever. Was it a good value for the price? Probably. Would I recommend this place - not based on this visit. "
