「Very clean and comfortable room. I think the bathroom had recently been renovated as it was immaculate. Excellent shower. Tea and coffee in the room. Great location. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.」

「I had a lovely stay at the Exeter Inn! Michelle and Martin gave me the warmest welcome, and the whole place felt instantly inviting. I met up with friends from Bampton for dinner, and the Festive Christmas menu was excellent — beautifully cooked and full of flavour. I stayed in the Brook bedroom, which was immaculate and thoughtfully supplied with plenty of toiletries. A genuinely delightful visit and I’d happily return. Thank you !」

「The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. 」

「The Sawmill was recommended to us by a friend who stayed last year. We arrived to a warm welcome, by the manager, Ryan. The room was warm and inviting, and had everything we needed, (Water, tea, coffee etc, and hairdryer. As we had driven from Poole, we wanted to eat in. The fire is brilliant, the staff friendly, and the food worthy of 5 stars. There was real ale, and lovely melot wine. BReakfast was huge, and filling, all cooked fresh. We would recommend it to anyone.」

「The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. Great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of town, even in the rain! Breakfasts were so amazingly good, I tried a different menu each day and was never disappointed. We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth.
