"Decor was black/ dark and lighting was so poor it was difficult to find things in my suitcases, purse, on top of the desk, countertop. I needed my torch to locate the light switches! Higher watt bulbs would have made all the difference. Restaurants were good although prices on high side. Staff were excellent;very helpful and friendly. The room was updated, well appointed, and spacious; shuttle to airport went smoothly. Overall a good one night stay but I’d be sure to bring a flashlight/ headlamp!"

"During my stay on 2 different occasions hotel staff entered my room unannounced the first around 5pm and the second in the morning around 8am. I have no problem with cleaning or maintenance staff checking on the room but knock first."

"The Google maps location for your hotel was/is incorrect. We arrived & walked the wrong way in the dark (as directed by Google maps). We phoned numerous times to ask for help but no one answered. This was all very stressful. In the room there were no power sockets near the bed which was unhelpful. The tv had very few channels. Snack prices were outrageous! Staff told us to just wait outside for the airport shuttle but really we needed to be in a specific place - a little sign would help! The staff were very kind about a medical request & we really appreciated that. Thank you. "

"A good location for travelling to Heathrow. Unfortunate that they don’t have complementary transit to and from the airport. I had a negative experience at the bar, waiting for service for 30 mins. Was told that I would be served when I arrived by staff and then waited 20 mins, flagged another staff and informed him that I was ready to order and he informed the original staff. Waited another 10 mins and then left. On my way out, I asked the staff in question why he did not serve me. He smiled, did not apologize and continued to serve others at the bar. "
