Most of the rooms have a good view on the River, sort of wetland in Summer, which is amazing treatment indeed.

Nice facility but not in the city of Harbin
we went for the top of the range [Lounge access/Executive Floor] and it was everything it should have been Only problem was that it was on the north side of the river and about 25-30 minutes into town

Nice and new. Good breakfast. Location - not the best if you want to walk around at night to explore. Also, no money exchange. It is the only 5 star hotel I ever stayed in China that does not exchange foreign currency.

The view of the river was pleasing. Some of the furniture was a bit tired, I thought the lobby could do with a refurbish sometime in the next few years.

Superb hotel away from the crowds
Great in-room amenities, nice window view, super comfortable bed, good range of complimentary movies. Room was a bit too warm despite low aircon temperature setting.

Kempinski Hotel Harbin review
The hotel is located 20-30 minutes by car from the city center and 10-15 minutes from the Ice and Snow festival locations. Nice upscale hotel, friendly staff however communication to most of the staff is very limited if you do not speak Chinese. Luxury hotel that with some more attention to employes English communication skills can be a gem for tourists as well.

Exceptional hotel with amazing staff
Exceptional hotel with amazing staff from being welcomed on arrival by the doorman, quick and efficient check-in, an upgrade to a suite, excellent quality food for in-room dining, full western and Asian buffet available for breakfast plus pleasant and efficient staff serving. For those that gym or bodybuilder the dumbells are in excess of 20kgs, a rarity in most hotel fitness rooms. This hotel has a GYM, not a fitness room. Check-out was very efficient as well.

Nice hotel with German restaurant.
Kempinski is a good choice for Harbin. The room was nice. But there was a minor maintenance issue. Service was quite good. Inside the hotel is the Paula Brauner restaurant, which serves great German food and beer. At night, the restaurant staged entertainment - a band from Cuba. Not much surrounding Kempinski. You'll likely have to eat meals at the hotel. Breakfast buffet was tasty.

很棒的飯店
飯店乾淨，住在行政樓層，view非常棒，浴缸大又舒服，還可以邊泡澡邊看電視，電動窗簾感覺氣派，行政酒廊的短髮小姊姊服務到位，熱情招待溫柔對待小朋友，非常棒～飯店離中央大街較遠，這次停留在哈爾濱時間太短～下次要待久一點！

ホテルの設備と従業員はすばらしかったです。ただ中央大街への利便性に問題があります。タクシーの乗車拒否や遠回りでの過大請求もありました。１日数回でも良いですからシャトルバス（有料でもok）あると、すばらしいホテルになると思います。中華料理、朝のビュッフェ、プール設備・係員も最高でした。有難うございました。

今年からホテルの名前が予約時と変わったようでしたが、事前に通知が無かったため、到着時に非常に困惑しました。 ホテルのサービス、設備は素晴らしかったですが、部屋の暖房が強すぎて入室時は汗をかく程でした。真冬なのに滞在中一度もエアコンをつけることはありませんでした。 近くにはお店などは何もなく、一番近い飲食店まで徒歩で20分程掛かりました。

Lovely staff, great comfort, worth the money for sure. The only downside is the slightly remote location. However, the location enables a view on to sun island, where the ice sculptures are located.

2015年オープンのきれいで、ロケーションは何もないので静かです
ホテルはきれいです。低反発マットレス入っているので、寝心地は最高でした。ぐっすり眠れます。周囲には何もありません。静かです。外資系ホテルの割に英語を理解する人が少なかったように思います。プールサウナもきれいでしたが、サウナ等の設備は、同じケンピンスキー大連と比較するとかなり落ちます。食事は味、種類とも普通です。特においしかった、目新しいさは感じませんでした。日本食関連のコーナーには何も料理が置かれていませんでした。残念。通常席まで案内してコーヒーを持って来たりするような給仕はありませんでした。当然食後のコーヒーもセルフで、この辺のサービス水準もう一つかなと思いました。（ビジネスホテルではないので）近くにコンビニがあったらいいなと思いました。

Beautiful hotel but far from downtown. The front desk stuff speak English but not much of the other stuff. Communication can be difficult. The room was clean and had a nice humidifier.

Very good hotel but very very bad service. We had 2 rooms with 2 persons per room and hotel kept insisting breakfast was only including 1 person per room. We showed them booking were it said breakfast free and they kept insisting every morning we pay for 1 person per room. At checkout they wanted extra money for a towel the claimed they could not clean that came from our room. They had not told us about it before checkout and we had no idea if it was from our room or just any other room. It all seemed rather petty and downgraded the stay. The hotel itself was very nice and close to sights. Breakfast was not fantastic for a 5*star though.
