Beautiful hotel right in the center of good cafes, restaurants and bars, easy 3-minute walk to the lake view. In the midst of The old city center, traffic is chaos but this hotel is on a quiet corner, really well located. Room and bathroom were spotless and high quality.

Really nice hotel, and the kindest staff!

We had such a nice stay! We tried another hotel in Hanoi, and Sunline was so much better, for almost the same price. The breakfast buffet was fine. Not the biggest, but makes sense since the hotel is not that big. Therefore I liked that you could order some ekstra breakfast dishes, included in the price. Loved the rooftop bar! Great drinks and really nice view of Hanoi, especially at night.

The hotel is clean and in the great location. My flight delayed due to heavy snowstorm in Vancouver so I missed 2 flights. The hotel helps me to reschedule the Halong Bay tour and cancel the other tour without fees. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Special Mr. Long who greets the guests in dining room every morning and do his best to make the guests feel welcome.

I stayed in Sunline Hotel while I visited Hanoi for 4 nights and 5 days. Hotel staff were so nice and professional. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. The room was nice and clean. I loved the hard wood floor since I am allergic to dust. The room was so quiet and I was able to get good sleep during my stay. Sunline Hotel is located close to everything such as night market, Dong Xuan Market, Long Bien Market, and many local shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend Sunline Hotel to anyone planning to visit Hanoi. Thank you, Sunline Hotel Staff. You all made my trip to Hanoi very special.

Hotel was very clean with good amenities, and is in a great location in the Old Quarter. Large variety of restaurants and shops nearby as well as Hoan Kiem Lake which had many weekend events going on. Despite the bustling location, rooms were quiet and peaceful though. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful. They helped us to communicate with locals, organize ride services, and gave recommendations for navigation and food. The customer service manager at the Paon location even sprinted after our van to make sure we got the correct ride. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone staying for a short or even longer period of time, and would return to it if we are in Hanoi again.

We had a pleasant stay. Like most hotels in the Old Quarter, the rooms are small and the area is crowded. The breakfast was good, but the selections are limited. The hotel area is blocked off each night during the weekend, making checking out and getting our luggages to the taxi rough because we had to walk a block to the taxi. Their staff help wheeled our luggages to the taxi. We are so thankful for that extra care. On the plus side is the nearness to the Sword Lake. It's just 2 blocks away.

The staff the staff the staff. I literally felt like I was walking into a 5 Star hotel with the way I was treated. As soon as I stepped out of the taxi a member from the staff whisked my bags away to my room. Check in was fantastically easy and the person I would have to say I interacted with the most was Long. This guy was a Rockstar for service. Constantly checking in to make sure everything was ok. Professional, friendly, great english speaker and a wonderful person to have working at the hotel. I will always book this hotel every time I am in Hanoi. Air con was good. Wifi was decent durring the day but will throttle down a bit late at night just fyi for remote workers.
