「Front desk staff were fantastically helpful to us. We had a bit of booking confusion and had ended up double booking our stay - once through the hotel directly and once through a third party. Didn't realize it until we went to check in, on a busy weekend. They cancelled their reservation for us without any hesitation or any charges, even though we were well past the free cancellation date and time. Entirely our mistake and would have been entirely within their rights to charge us and they chose...

「This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others.」
