「The hotel was clean,fresh & modern looking with excellent facilities. Comfortable beds & pillows. Was a little bit too hot in room & you couldn't open the windows any further due to the restraint at the bottom of the window. Some sort of air conditioning or fan would be nice especially n the room during the hot summer days as it's difficult to get off to sleep in the heat.The staff are all helpful & very pleasant. 「This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.」

「Staff at breakfast all seemed subdued and only very few interacted with guests. The choice of breakfast was minimal. In comparison with other hotels it was just about acceptable. Some of the seats were uncomfortable due to ware and tear. Ended up sitting on the frame rather than the leather clad seat cushion.
