"I knew it was going to be a windowless room, so can't complain here. I also paid quite a competitive price below 1k NTD per night, so that was OK.
Unlike other comments, the elevators were not an issue for me as I used the ones at the back of the building, they usually arrived very quickly, and allow to go to B3 for a direct connection to MRT.
Room cleanliness was so-so, the carpet is clearly not from recently, I actually hate carpet and would highly prefer a wooden floor or PVC as it feels better and cleaner. one day, the bed was made like if it was my 10Yo kid who did it... There were few black mold lumps in the shower. the furniture is as well not from latest batch.
The sound insulation is not very good but I had quiet neighbors so I have not been disturbed past the few minutes when they come back or leave their room and talk in the corridor.
Aircon settings do not seem to do anything indeed.
Staff at the reception was not exactly warm, just doing the bare minimum.
But the worst of the worst that made me give a bad rating : the wifi, it was horrendous, to the point that I preferred to go to the shopping mall to use the free wifi there. Reason seems quite obvious, they have one separate SSID for each room, so for sure you get congestion. Come on, we are in 2026, do a single one with clients isolation..."
