"Hotel room was up to all my expectations and good choice for breakfast. Unfortunately due to storm the week before some pools were closed and the beach was full of rubbish which staff didn't seem to be making an effort to clean up in any hurry. Distance from Cat Ba town was easy"

"I’m pretty sure this is the best hotel in all of Vietnam. The rooms are incredible. Beautifully designed, lots of space, with all the amenities. On top of that, the service was so amazing. The two girls that helped us were so kind and helpful. I don’t think you can find a better hotel!"

"Was a great stay. Breakfast on the street is great, rooms spacious and in a cave, very cool. The only resort that I stayed in Vietnam that had hot water. The staff very welcoming and extremely helpful. Shame about the monster resort getting built in front, looking at cranes and building work."

"Rooms were filthy and smelly. There was half an inch of dust on the hanging lamp which was cleaned after mentioning it to the receptionist. Room service worker threw our blanket on the floor. Not a very welcoming atmosphere."
