Casa Fernando by Barrio Mexico is an exceptional accommodation in the vibrant Colonia Americana neighborhood. Its prime location offers easy access to numerous restaurants and attractions. While the lively atmosphere from the nearby eateries can result in some noise from music and conversations, I found it to be a minor aspect of the overall experience. The unit itself is spacious and exudes a homely ambiance. Spending Christmas alone in a new city, Casa Fernando provided a welcoming home for my week-long stay, which was perfect for me. A delightful bonus is the complimentary breakfast at Barrio Mexico Cafe, just 1.5 blocks away.

They responded to an inquiry about cleanliness (dirty floor upon check in) immediately. It was a safe entry system! Slowest moving elevator I have ever experienced, LoL! The included breakie was nice to start most days with!

I loved my stay here. This is an excellent choice if you're doing an extended visit and want a no-frills place. The area felt safe and had a ton of places to eat. Across the street is a more upscale restaurant. For breakfast and casually hanging out, I'd hit up The Dizzy Pickle. The room has a washer/dryer. The instructions can be confusing, but it was fantastic having it. You can get very dusty walking around. Being able to throw a load in the was excellent. Heads up, if you want it cleaned and dried, it will take a few hours. The only feedback I'd give it is that there weren't a ton of blankets. Though Guadalajara is pretty warm, maybe that's not a big deal. Figuring out how to get into the complex was a bit confusing. The washing machine is in Spanish. You might have a hard time figuring it out. My room was clean and ready for me. The streets around it are busy but didn't keep me up at night. The employees were nice and friendly.

I like conviniences like laundry machine, air conditioner, wifi,private kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and stove. I didn't like very loud and noisy bar that probably belong to the owner of the building. The bar is loud and noisy on weekdays and mostly on weekends. Also dog barking very loudly in the building. Water gets cold during shower which is very annoying. Being new in town I was not given an option to stay longer and was forced out.

El departamento súper bien y la atención del staff presente también, muy amables y el depa súper cómodo y limpio. Lo único fue que el único medio de comunicación que identifiqué fue por llamada, ya que por el chat de Expedia jamás respondieron. Pienso que pueden facilitar la comunicación pero fuera de eso de verdad 10/10, volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí nuevamente sin pensarla, tal vez conocer sus demás casas!
