Great for 1 nite stay. Checkin was easy, room small but adequate. Only issue was the bright light outside our room. Drapes not full enough to stop light from coming in. Fridge was loud so unplugged it. Restaurant was busy so slow service but staff was nice.

We had to move rooms because the AC unit was so loud we could not sleep. The property manager was very accommodating to get us a new room without hesitation. The pillows in the first room were horrible and flat as a pancake. The new room all the pillows were much better. Would stay again when it’s in season and the restaurant and bar are open.

Was looking for a convenient, reasonable launching pad for Yosemite. Everything was well communicated, from start to finish, and for honest lodging that was dog-friendly, this was by far the best. This was in the off-season, and was a great place to start the adventure. We will be back!

This group is an unresponsive group. When we asked for a heater, because room heat wasn't working, they gave us a fan!! Not staying there again. Also, one of the ladies there is pretty much the rudest, most racist person I have encountered.

Room was clean and felt expensive for an average property. Security deposit $150 was a surprise. The property was listed as Pet Friendly (I did not have my pet) but there was a card on the table in the room that they will fine $150 for a pet (other than service dog). I think the receptionist can smile.. nothing loose. Restaurant next to the hotel was helpful. Checkin is to be done in another hotel next to it.

This is a review of the cabins in the back. Very quiet, appreciated the porch. The mini fridge is pretty large. Nice view out of the far window. Nice, hot shower. Good breakfast at the Lucky Buck restaurant.

BEWARE! Rude, Hidden Charges, No Comforter, Bugs
First-- our bed do not have a blanket or comforter (mid-Oct/38* at nite)-- was told it was too late to get one that evening by front desk (Manny-- more on him below)...and curtly told to "just turn the heater up." Which we did-- it was the LOUDEST fan I have ever experienced in a hotel AC/Heater unit. Every time it kicked on, it woke us up. AND-- the rear window in the unit was open when we arrived-- to air it out-- but the screen had fallen out (a long time ago w/ amount of dirt in seal)... so hello BUGS! Also-- I called to make sure unit was a pet-free unit as listed specifically on their site(have allergies)... front desk said "we advertise that, but can't promise it"... What does that mean? Lastly-- watch out for the $5 "amenities fee" that is discreetly "posted somewhere" (according to Manny)... As you might surmise-- Manny/Front Desk-- was combative, evasive, and unhelpful-- when I asked to speak to management re: these concerns. *** Only pleasant aspect of stay was the Lucky Buck Cafe-- good food/generous portions. *** We'll NEVER stay here again-- you should avoid!

The owners are trying to make it nice, but it’s all lipstick in a pig. Despite the newer furnishings & fancy dispensers in the bathroom, I would not stay here again. The room REEKED of mildew. The A/C was so loud, one couldn’t sleep with it running, and the thermostat often didn’t work. I had to take it off the wall mount, press the batteries in, adjust the temp (or turn off) and place it back on the wall.
