「Whilst these rooms are effectively student accommodation and (in my case at least) the bathroom is shared by two rooms, they are excellently appointed and comfortable. 「This is a backpacker place not a hotel/motel. They don’t provide things where a normal hotel provides like towels, shampoos, conditioners, bath soap, etc. It’s a shared kitchen so you need to bring or cook your own food. 「If you are looking for a nice warm and quiet stay in Newlands outside of the craziness of downtown. This is the place to be, lovely couple that own the Newlands Guesthouse with fantastic staff. If only they had control of the weather. I went it the autumn and lots of rain.」
