Loved my stay at All Africa House. Stayed one extra night. Have recommended the facility to friends who live in the area. Only slight inconvenience is they don't have enough keys i.e. you have to share a key with the front desk.

This place is terrible. No AC or heat in the rooms. I reserved an "Executive Suite" but there was nothing executive about ithe room. The room was very small and there was no news chamnels to watch on TV. I visited the property one day prior to check in to see the room. The employee told me there were no rooms available to show. Moat likely, this response was to keep guests from canceling their reservation once they saw the room. I will never stay at this property again.

Whilst these rooms are effectively student accommodation and (in my case at least) the bathroom is shared by two rooms, they are excellently appointed and comfortable. They have good internet, parking, a great buffet breakfast, charming grounds, perfect for a day or two. Really helpful staff and all very clean and modern - they even have kitchen facilities.

I would not recommend this place to international travelers. This is a ‘university of Capetown’ property in the middle campus in Rondebosch. The geolocation on UBER maps is only partially accurate, so getting in/out (by hailing UBER) is a problem. The UBER app does not properly identify the property. In the morning, the kitchen staff makes a lot of noise. There is no AC, so summer heat is a problem. There are also mosquitos. It is in the middle of nowhere. Good for locals with own cars, but bad for international travelers. Stay AWAY if you are an international traveler.
