"The whole place could do with a lick of paint and a bit of modernisation, but nice clean and spacious room, with clean bathroom. Great breakfast with friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool area and big (sports) bar, serving good pub grub. Great sea views from the pool and bar. "

"The family run Welbeck Hotel was perfect for our short stay on the I.O.M. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, serviced every day, early access to our rooms was much appreciated. Meals were served in a lovely dining room with a good selection of breakfast options. In our opinion the hotel is worthy of a higher star rating, the fact that it’s a 15min walk in to town was not an issue for us. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the family run Welbeck hotel, thanks to the family and staff for making our stay so enjoyable."

"A very nice quiet hotel located right of the promenade , villa marina and near many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. Excellent staff provides quiet, friendly service. Room was very comfortable , quiet and everything worked well and was well maintained. It’s a great choice in Douglas. Restaurant had very good food too."
