"The building is an old building and it is clear there is a continual update going on ,which takes time ,we've been moved twice in past visits because of rain getting in (usually very wet and stormy conditions ) but we have been re roomed immediately in these conditions and we are still coming ,we like the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff ,breakfast is always fresh and plentiful ,no complaints ,the rooms are dated but as I said previously its an old hotel and we like it coming ,wealready booked for an Easter visit "

"Stayed in the suite - comfortable on the fold down sofa, though made the room a bit cramped. Excellent location - by the pier and beach, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast Would stay again"

"Convenient location for both shops and pier. Prime location for the promenade. I was fortunate to be given a room id requested, very spacious, lovely seaview, with a bath, albeit smallish, it was quite adequate. Bed was a little hard for myself but thats an individual taste, just bear in mind its two singles together, so you do feel the join in the middle. Nice to have seperate seating aswell. Found the staff very friendly. Breakfast was cereals, toast, fruit, yogurts and a choice of cooked eggs, made for ideal start to the day. I found the Iris hotel goid value for money"

"Breakfast was great. Lots of choice, from continental to full English as well as lots of options in between, whether you want just egg on toast or boiled eggs, including vegetarian or vegan option. Room was really great, all amenities that you would need. The shops and restaurants are just 10mins walk away, so location is great, and one of the few places that offers off road parking. "

"The room was small but had everything we needed, it was clean and very warm. The staff were welcoming and helpful and check in was easy. Nice bar overlooking the prom and an excellent view of the pier. Food looked lovely although we did not eat there this time. Shops were very close, abundance of cafes and coffee shop within 2min walk. Second stay at the Marine Hotel will definitely be staying again"

"Comfortable stay. Nice sea view room. Only down side was very squeaky floors. Cant really complain for the price. I think all the negative reviews were from when it was called the County hotel. "

"this is the third time we,ve stayed at the Headland and because its an older style hotel it has its quirkyness and a few things have to be taken into account( no lift) but a great place and the views are brilliant."

"A pleasant stay, with easy access to Llandudno town and beach. The pool area was nice, but it was a pity that the jacuzzi area was connected to the swimming pool and consequently cooler than normal. "
