Booked a “suite” during the state fair for one night. Showed up and checked in and rushed off to make it to the rodeo. After returning to our room for the night, we found stains on the bedding including on the pillows, no towels in the bathroom, toilet wouldn’t flush, and floor was so dirty I tried sweeping it myself with a broom from the front desk, but it looked like it hadn’t been mopped in weeks. We contacted to front desk and because they were booked we couldn’t switch rooms so we were forced to find another hotel well after midnight. After calling in the morning to speak with the manager about a refund he stated that he could only give us a partial refund because his owners had been on him about issuing too many refunds. I don’t ever leave reviews because I believe people just have an off day sometimes, but in this case I think the owners need to focus on clearing out the druggies leaned up against the doors and hiring people who can manage to do their jobs correctly. Clearly if they have been issuing “too many full refunds” the problem is deeper than just customers complaining.
