"Friendly staff but understaffed. Nobody answers the phone when you call front desk or housekeeping. Left a voicemail for housekeeping to clean my room on one day and they did not clean the room. Hot tub/jacuzzi was broken my entire stay and did not see any workers trying to get it fixed. (Great hot tub when operational!!) Overall hotel is dingy and needs a deep cleaning. Price is good and close to Heavenly Valley Gondola."

"We enjoyed the room and the location to our event. There were a few things that we would have preferred to be better. The air conditioner did not work. It would not turn on by itself. We would have to turn it down several degees and then it would turn on but turn off 5 minutes later. Even if we raised the temp, it would not turn on to air conditioning. You have no screens on your windows. The benefit of a hotel with windows that open is that you can catch the spring or early morning air! However, with no screens, we were not able to do that unless we wanted bugs to join us. We would have preferred that the refrigerator have a freezer compartment. We would not stay in that same room again. It was very noisy being directly across from the laundry room. Also, there needs to be some control after 10 p.m. with people walking down the hall. They are all talking and laughing very loudly. At 2a.m. one morning, someone ran by and rapped loudly on our door. I'm sure kids were having fun! Refresh service should be made clear that we have to call it in every day. We returned the second day to our room with nothing done. Fortunately the staff was right next door still working and were very accommodating. We will stay at Chrystal Inn again, in a different room. Thank you."

"We had a great view overlooking the city and the pool that was on the six floor. The hotel was beautiful, parking was easy. The room was spotless, the beds were amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Extremly classy place. I will stay there again."
