"Good proximity to the beach and ease of access. Lots of amenities with good front desk, service, and bar staff. Need to update the rooms and remodel bathrooms. The resort should make an effort to control large groups in single rooms and limit loud speakers. Overall it was an average experience for my first time in Myrtle. "

"Bro room was clean great customer service easy checkout, easy check-in parking was OK. Great location near the beach fun activities for the kids fun pool area for the kids. Nice stay."

"Not servicing the rooms should have been communicated in advance of booking, not when you arrived to the facility! We could not even get a fresh towels nor trash is collected. It is clearly a hotel for travelers with pets. The breakfast was poor, not worth the money we paid at all. Staff was very kind but not contributed to our request."

"We stayed at Midtown Inn and Cottages this past week and had a good overall experience. The biggest highlight was how responsive and accommodating the owners were. We arrived later than expected due to travel delays, after the office had closed, but they made things easy by leaving our key, parking pass, and clear instructions in a lockbox. We were able to settle everything the next morning, which we really appreciated after a long drive. Our original room had a bathroom leak, but they addressed it right away by moving us and upgrading us without any hassle. The second room was more comfortable and included a small kitchenette with dishes, a stove, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. They also honored our request for a first-floor room, which was important for mobility reasons, even after the room change. The location is great, within walking distance to the beach, with plenty of parking. The pool looked clean, although we didn’t use it. There was some nighttime noise and thin walls, but that’s fairly typical for beach properties. Overall, we appreciated how quickly they handled issues and made sure we were comfortable. Their customer service really stood out."

"My stay at The Ellie’s Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach was overall decent, but it fell short of expectations in several key areas. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the overall resort experience didn’t live up to what you’d expect from a place marketing itself as a resort. The most disappointing part was the breakfast service — it started off okay for couple of days but quickly turned into a poor experience due to bad customer service. The staff seemed disorganized, unhelpful, plain rude which really turned the stay to a very poor experience. Additionally, the fees charged for our two rooms were inconsistent, which was confusing and frustrating. Between that and the underwhelming service, I wouldn’t recommend The Ellie’s Beach Resort to anyone looking for a true resort-like experience in Myrtle Beach."
