「We like to stay in hotels settled in historic buildings like the ones of the Spanish Paradores. The Pousada reminded us of it. The spacious rooms in a quiet ambiance with antic furniture a fire place, piano and oil paintings on the walls were appealing to us. The room also had several English language TV channels to catch up on latest news. The breakfast on the house was excellent and the best we had on our entire 4 week trip in Spain and Portugal. 「Very convenient for a 0505 flight the following day. Though no shuttle to airport when we checked out that early, the 5 minutes walk to airport did not create any problems unless you have lots of luggages. Check in out very smooth, buffet dinner at 20 Euro plus complimentary breakfast (even at 0230 continental breakfast) made it very convenient. Clean tidy and smooth I would stay again for and early flight from Lisbon.」
