"When i arrived at the hotel it was pouring rain, doors were locked and a lady sat at the desk on her phone. I rang the bell several times and she didnt even acknowledge my presence. After approximately 5 minutes she finally did come to window. At checkout at 11:00am, i went to office to turn room keys in and check out, again door locked, no one ever came to door or window so i had to leave key on window edge. Also i had call the office for Wi-Fi password however i was never able to get on wifi. ...

"One can tell someone did a lot of work on the hotel, but major issues remain! Cockroaches in the room, the smoke detector hanging by its wires, the sink falling out of its counter, the toilet rocking, a roll of toilet paper with only enough on it for one use and no spare, gunk on the wall by the bed, the TV difficult to see cause it is somehow being converted to an analog signal before being distributed, tiny towels that one can barely dry oneself with it. "We were just staying for 1 night for a picnic event the next day at the Locke Surls Center for Art & Nature. 10 minutes after we checked in we were informed the event had been cancelled due to flooding. The hotel was super nice & let is check out & refunded our money. Very nice staff & service!"
